Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland,

Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland, hosts the 2025 BMW Championship from August 11-17, marking its return as the second leg of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup Playoffs. The Tom Fazio-designed course, originally opened in 1991, has undergone significant renovations since last hosting the event in 2021, transforming from a par-72 to a par-70 layout and extending to 7,601 yards, making it one of the longest courses on the PGA TOUR. The redesign includes recontoured greens with challenging pin positions, a new drainage system for firmer conditions, and additional bunkers, such as four on the first hole and three large ones on the par-5 third, to test the top 50 players in the FedExCup standings. With tight fairways, multi-tiered bentgrass greens, and dramatic elevation changes, the course demands precision, length off the tee, and strong putting, promising a birdie-friendly yet challenging setup for players vying for a top-30 spot in the TOUR Championship.
